Innovative Atomizer Basket: Transforming Liquid Dispersion

Evaporation King has been leading the way in developing innovative rotary atomizer concepts to tackle the challenge of producing small micron droplets that evaporate rapidly. Their latest breakthrough involves a unique atomizer design with 3D printed small holes arranged in a basket configuration. However, during testing, it was noted that the water droplets were larger than desired, and the motor struggled to reduce their size effectively.

Extensive research suggested that reducing the size of the holes could lead to smaller droplets. Evaporation King attempted to create atomizer baskets with smaller holes but faced challenges as the water droplets either enlarged or had difficulty passing through the smaller openings.

To overcome these obstacles, Evaporation King took a step further by designing an innovative atomizer basket with adding additional rows of larger and smaller square, oblique, and circular holes. This patent pending dual and triple fracturing effect successfully produced smaller droplets compared to the previous design with only a single row of holes.

Additionally, Evaporation King developed a high-speed motor capable of spinning at 18,000 RPMs. This advancement allowed for turbulent airflow integration into the dual and triple fracturing concept, enhancing lift and directing airflow towards the small water droplets. The addition of airfoil type wings at various angles to the 3D printed atomizer basket further optimized performance, resulting in effective air mixture and the production of small water droplets.

Through rigorous testing, Evaporation King determined that the best design for wastewater evaporation is the triple fracturing atomizer basket. Testing at different speeds with 30 GPM (114 LPM) of water throughput revealed optimal micron spectra results at 9,000 RPMs. Even operating at half its maximum speed, the atomizer basket achieved 50% of droplet sizes at 81 microns or smaller, with 90% of droplets measuring 193 microns or less.

The experimentation revealed a consistent micron spectra curve illustrating that higher speeds resulted in the formation of smaller droplets. The subsequent testing curve visually demonstrates the distinction between the dual fracturing atomizer basket (Basket 3) and the triple fracturing atomizer basket (Basket 2).

Evaporation King presents a trio of choices for atomizer baskets:

  1. Double or Triple Wall Atomizer Basket without airfoil winglets.
  2. Double or Triple Wall Atomizer Baskets with single row of airfoil winglets.
  3. Double or Triple Wall Atomizer Baskets with dual row of airfoil winglets.

Evaporation King's groundbreaking innovations in rotary atomizer technology have once again set a new standard in the industry, showcasing unparalleled advancements in both throughput and motor speed. Through meticulous testing and research, the development of the triple fracturing atomizer basket has not only revolutionized the production of small water droplets for rapid evaporation but has solidified Evaporation King's position as a frontrunner in the field. With the ability to achieve optimal micron spectra results at 9,000 RPMs and consistently produce droplets of 81 microns or smaller, Evaporation King's cutting-edge design surpasses all expectations, demonstrating unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness in wastewater evaporation. This latest breakthrough underscores Evaporation King's commitment to innovation and excellence, cementing their reputation as the industry leader in rotary atomizer technology.
